Urban Outfitters Sweater, Topshop Jamie Jeans, Slip-On Vans.
It’s finally feeling like winter time in Chicago. The trees have been strong with lights and the bells have started ringing on every street corner. And the collection of sweaters continues to grow. Here’s one of my favorites.
Forever 21 Dress, H&M Sandals, Asos Bag.
Today felt like summer, but tomorrow will probably feel like fall. And, knowing Chicago, it could very well snow by the end of the month. But, for what could have been the last time this year, I enjoyed wandering around the city in a dress and sandals. Fall, I’m ready for you.
And so begins my second year in the prettiest of cities. While I’m sitting here wondering how in the world I became an approaching-twenty, sophomore in college, I can’t help but look around and smile. I can’t help but walk around my apartment placed between Michigan Avenue and State Street and wonder how ecstatic my sixteen year-old self would be. I can’t help but wonder how this life became mine and how this happiness I once thought was completely unattainable somehow stumbled upon me.
But I’ll go ahead and stop there. I hope you enjoy some of the moments during the past week in which the permanent tourist inside me made an appearance.
